am going to get a second chance to do over an interview I bombed due to nervousness. what should I expect. it will be a one to one versus a group like I did before

You should probably expect much of the same questions. See if you can remember them and jot them down. Also write down questions you think he/she may ask you as well. Have well thought out answers and practice them with a friend or family member. Practice until you're not quite as nervous anymore. Also try to make your answers sound natural rather than rehearsed (even though they are...hehe).

It also helps to write down a few questions of your own. Program directors like to know that students know a little about their program and that students are more interested in their particular school rather than just getting in to any school. Good luck!

Relax and just be yourself. If this is the only school you want to attend make sure you tell them.

I once told a friend to whip out a check and tell them "if you want me to I will write a check to hold my spot right now".

They took him up on it and accepted him right on the spot.

It has to be horrible for a director of an anesthesia program to send an acceptance letter (which was a dream come true for me) out to an applicant....and the applicant turning them down for another school. WHAT AN INSULT!!!

Tell them how great their school is and why you want to be part of them.
