Hello,

I am a newbie here and interested in Barry's CRNA program.

I am also an RN with an ASN and BA in Economics and MBA.

Just wondering does Barry accept RNs with Associate degrees with a BA ?

I know they've stipulated in their admissions that they do accept these non-traditional types--but wanted to know firsthand from Barry alums and current students if you yourself or know Barry students who are RNs with ASN/BA and if so, what are your/their stats (e.g. ; BA type degree; ER or ICU; # of exp; GRE/GPA) ?

Appreciate any feedbacks and comments.

You would probably be better served sending Barry your transcripts and letting them look them over for the answer. I have not heard of anyone getting in without at BSN, but I am sure there are a few. My understanding is non-traditional would still be a BS in another field, such as biology or micro/molecular biology...etc. These are sometimes pre-med tracks that they may take, but again, each case is different and only the admissions department would give you the best advice. If someone did get in this way, they probably had very specific exceptions to their situation and may be different from yours.

Thanks for the reply back, Fyrace

I communicated with admissions people and they told me that they review these types on a case by case basis.

I just wanted to see if anyone here in this forum has had a RN/ASN/BA that got in

Chances are you will not be accepted. There are just too many people out there applying that have the 'proper' credentials
