It's snowing...in April...in TEXAS! :smow: Either hell is freezing over (which means I'm going to have to go on a date with that nerd from radiology) or it's the first sign of the apocalypse.
Anyone else have any weird occurences happening?!

What happened to "global warming?" it seems that your observations are "inconvenient" ..... heheheh

Ha! I was thinking about that when I started this thread but didn't want to stir the pot. Besides, I knew you'd be along shortly with a spoon, Army. <insert evil grin here>

Ya'll are warm compared to Ohio. A few days ago it was sunny & 78. Right now we have a windchill of 10, white out conditions at times & expecting 3-5 inches of snow by noon tomorrow. I wonder if the Easter bunny owns skis? LOL

What is it with Punxsy Phil, anyway??!! The first time he predicts an early Spring in a coon's age, it is snowing here in western PA, and people are out covering up their dogwood trees, etc, which doesn't even touch snow in Texas.
So much for loving pansies and springtime....that Radiology dude is going to surprised by a date before I see a pansy. That date sounds like a fate worse than global warming.....
So when are all you CRNAs with $$ going to buy your upscale hybrids??? Forget the Lexus...

My sister just bought one and loves it. I remember when she had "Texas big hair" and drove an SUV. Then she moved to Boulder, stopped wearing makeup and bought a hybird. :hippie: Surely that is the second sign of the Apocalypse.
If she starts voting Democrat I'm disowning her...

I was certain yesterday that hell must have frozen over. I was working my (now) second job in the neontal ICU and had a heavy assignment with 1st admission - short staffed as usual. Had a beautifully slow day, no deliveries, no visitors to any of the 6 babies in my pod. Seriously, I have never been on admit in this unit without admitting something....
Then I stepped out of the hospital to walk to my car last night and it was 37 freaking degrees - in HOUSTON. WTF???? Bbbrrrrrrrrrrr.

Undoubtedly the thin air has affected her brain.....no more SUV and big hair is one thing but NO MAKEUP?? I get short of breath just thinking about it.
She needs to drive her hybrid down to lower altitudes.

I feel your pain, sista....it was snowing in Ft Worth yesterday. What next? Locusts? Frogs? MDAs and CRNAs joining hands and singing "Kumbaya"?!! :dancing2:

No, really...the no big hair thing is freaking me out. Texas debutantes do NOT give up their big hair. It is simply not done!!! If she stops shaving, I'll have to seriously consider an intervention. She's already dangerously close to being "granola-crunchy" in her Birkenstocks and hybrid car.
Pass the O2, Deb....I'm feeling a little light-headed and short of breath myself!!!
(Okay, fine...I'm taking a little dramatic license here and exaggerating for the sake of the story. :drama: )
