First let me say my Freakin Brain Hurts!!! I don't know if im studying too much or not enough. My interview is next week at Lady of Our Lourdes. Pretty Stoked, but nervous. They will be administering a exam, which makes me even more nervous. If anyone has insight about the interview let me know. In the meantime....if you believe in the power of prayer..PLEASE SEND ONE UP FOR ME.

Be yourself. I've been through the interview process before, and the worst thing you can do is pretend to be somone your not. I prepared by reading up on critical care nursing, like ABG's, Drips, etc. I also practiced interview questions, and had an idea of what I was going to say going in. Ask lots of questions. They like that. Hopefully they won't ask you too many clinical questions since you are taking a test. Personally, I don't know how much info you can get from a test at that point, but it is what it is I guess.

I've interviewed there before. Honestly, the test is nothing you can truly prepare for. Some of the questions are incredibly basic, other will be either you know it or you don't. Do you have your CCRN?

Hi Quetina
Congratulations!!! I also have an interview with OLLMC. My interview is October 26th. I wish you the best of luck! I'll definitely be interested in hearing about your experience.
I'm going to send you a PM...

No, but I have been studying/answering CCRN review questions, along with the wonderful interview questions that have been provided in the forum. So I hope it helps. Are you in school?

Wonderful program IMO, had really great vibes when I interviewed and looking forward to doing the same this year. What hurt me was my lack of ICU experience and I did not have my CCRN prior to the interview. I did not need a program director to tell me this...however this website is great for self evaluation and ways to improve. Wish you the best in the interview, relax and be yourself.

I think my interview was Oct 21th at OLLMC and it went very well. The exam was either u know it or you dont. I tried the best i could. The interview itself was very laid back and they kinda build their questions from whatever you told them. So try not to act like a smart ass.
Anyways, I did get accepted.
