This Website was created by an SRNA at Southren Illinois University Edwardsville. She has done a phenomenal job. The web development was 100% done by her and she has extensive web development skills.
The site was setup primarily for the Students at the Univ. but it has grown to be an excellent resource for the community of SRNAs.
Besides the unbelievable design I also liked:
- Excellent directory of careplans
- Beautiful links page
The owner has graciously allowed us to add all of the careplans to our current repository bringing us near 200 of them.
Excellent site!

Looks like this site has been bought out or shut down. All I get now is a search page with similar words to CRNA that link to websites and advertisements, but no single site of information or anything like care plans.

Possibly a good alternative if not already posted: http://www.freewebs.com/ginacareplans/
It probably got hijacked by all-nurses. They have been known to be very nasty.

How do they go about hijacking a website? Just curious.

I went on that site and looked at some of their care plans. All I can say is that if I showed up and handed that in as my care plan, I'd be kicked out of the O.R. - has some good organizational stuff on it, but it's not careplans at least how we're required to do them.

Thats funny, if I showed up with a care plan, i think I'd get kicked out of the OR ;). Culture is funny, eh?

The original post has been resurrected from July 10, 2006. The surprise would be if the website still existed.
Since the SRNA hopefully graduated a number of years ago, she likely found her new profession brought more significant demands on her time then maintaining a website with, among other things, SRNA care plans.

Ha! That is funny. Is it too late for me to transfer to your school? :)
I've had a CRNA give me back my ELEVEN page care plan and tell me it needed work. HE sure wasn't/isn't my favorite person ever.
