Hi All
Recently there was a classifieds post by jeffreyheese (http://www.nurse-anesthesia.org/member.php?u=1078) one of our members. He has created a number of well designed and helpful tools. I recieved mine yesterday and got a chance to look at it seriously and review it today. Ive added my review and photos of each piece.
I was extremely impressed by the drug cards. These are essentially perfect study materials for the SRNA. They list everything needed for studying. They are a 4X6 size and easily laminated or placed in a mini photobook. Here is a pic:

Also is the paeds card which does an excellent job of putting all the important info you need in one place.It is a front and back laminated card. It includes a comprehensive dosing guide based on wt on the back which i think is awesome! Here are 2 pics front and back.

There are also 2 other cards which are laminated which i though did a nice job covering Epidural anesthesia, Spinal Anesthesia, Interscalene blocks and Axillary blocks. They include agent choices, landmarking, prep and a full description of the procedure. Here are some pics front and back of each.

Lastly and possibly the coup de gras is the clipboard itself. It is a nice clear plastic clipboard which has a sturdy clip mechanism on the top but also a retractable haning mechanism at the top which i think would be invaluable for positioning it somewhere. The thing i really liked about the clipboard is that the back of it has a clear plastic pocket in which the adult sheet is contained. This allows it to be flipped to any side you want on top as well as replacing it with your own sheets or info that you may need. The adult sheet includes an exhaustive list of drugs ont he back which includes trade name, generic name and class. On the front are all the standard drugs used in anesthesia with dose ranges and general guidelines.

One thing i did notice which i didnt like was that the sheet whcih comes with the board isnt laminated. This is something i would consider even though the fit is tight just to protect it from inadvertent damage to the sheet if board was placed on a table with fluid of anykind. Also, if you trim the other anesthesia laminated sheets you can place them on the clipboard for easy access (like the paeds one).
Over all, i think this is a great product and the only critisim i have was in relation to the non laminated sheet with the clipboard and making the laminated sheets small enogun to fit the clipboard jacket.
